50 Favorite Film Music Cues - Some Kind of Wonderful
Charlie Sexton - Beat’s So Lonely
Featured on the 1985 album “Pictures for Pleasure” by Charlie Sexton, it was the singer-songwriter’s biggest hit reaching #17 on the Billboard pop charts. In 1987, it was featured in the John Hughes penned film Some Kind of Wonderful during the film’s climax at Hardy’s party. For years, I searched for this song. I never caught the name and only knew a few the lyrics. I think it suits the scene perfectly.
